DIRECTIONS: In a medium saucepan or cast iron skillet, add oil ½ inch up the sides and heat to medium high heat. Drain the pickles and pat dry with a paper towel. In a medium bowl, combine pickle mix and water or milk and stir until batter is smooth. Dip each pickle into the batter and add to the hot oil. Fry for 2-3 minutes or until golden and crispy. Carefully remove with a slotted spoon and drain on a paper towel. Serve with you favorite dipping sauce (ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, bbq ranch sauce or your favorite hot sauce.
